Learn Math With Legos

Most youngsters would tell you that Legos are a blast to play with. That mixture of bright colored blocks of many different sizes get the creative juices flowing in little kids. They create boats, airplanes, tall buildings, cars, and practically anything a young mind can dream up. If that isn't enough, they also are being touted as a means to teach children math. The different sizes are perfect for showing halves, quarters, and eighths. Who knew that fractions could be learned so easily. Counting the knobs on the bricks is such a simple way to engage a child in counting, addition, and subtraction. There are tons of excellent websites that do a fantastic job explaining how to use a few Lego bricks to open up the world of math to the children of the world.
